Originally from Chicago, IL, Lindsey Cantrell currently lives in Los Angeles, CA, working in the entertainment industry. She is an active member of IATSE Local 44.

For years Lindsey has considered herself a non-starving, always eating, artist. Her parents divorced when she was just two years old, setting her on a path to grow up on the road. It was there that Lindsey discovered her love of the arts. She opened up multiple sketch books in the backseat of her great uncle's '95 Grand Marquis, and dabbled in painting, pastels, and text designs. Once she was a bit older, Lindsey signed up for mainly art electives in school, and ultimately received a 2nd Place award on one of her paintings, which led to a college scholarship. Five years, three college transfers, four major changes, and one minor later, Lindsey graduated from SIU Carbondale, and began her journey to LA. She was accepted into the Directing Women's Workshop intern program with AFI and made incredible contacts to continue her career forward.

Having this background in visual arts, communications, and graphic design, Lindsey has honed in on a great skill set within the art & set decoration departments. With experience in various positions within these departments, she is well-versed in problem-solving both on and off set. Her passion can be found sourcing for specific color palettes, dressing for a character's distinct world, and always tweaking that final frame.

Lindsey is also in the process of working with print and editorial publications. She has experience in creative writing and photojournalism, as well as prop & food styling. She understands storytelling, composition, and design, and has the ability to create unique looks for any set and scene.

Lindsey is an avid traveler, and able to work as a local in Chicago, Illinois, Los Angeles, California, and Auckland, New Zealand.
